yay! Katie and I got an A on our presentation! yay! i'm a little confused about this final project we are suppose to do but i'll go back and read the instructions again.

I really do like these website or webpage creating projects. It's opened this window for me to create my own or to just learn more about making webpages and sites. I've always shopped at stores such as Abercrombie and Fitch, the Gap, abercrombie, and American Eagle...i knew what their advertisements suppose to be selling and their hidden selling or advertisement was. But it never really did effect me. I didn't or don't buy the clothes because some "hot model" is wearing them or not even wearing them. Honestly to me why even have a naked model it's not like they are wearing an advertisement. So really I don't think that advertisements are that hugely a big deal.

So on Tuesday, Katie and I got together and worked on our presentation. We had a fun time. And we found a lot of material. But we were still worried that we wouldn't have enough. Later that night I went home and decided to see if the book's website had any resources that we could use. And lucky me, the website provided a number of links to different websites that would provide me with research information.

We gave our presentation on Friday. I thought it went pretty well. I hope it went well at least. There was a lot more that I wanted to talk about but there was another group that had to go after us so Katie and I had to wrap things up fast. But I still think we did a pretty good job on the presentation.

In english we did a pretty cool project. I had a lot of fun thinking of a "new" reality television show. It's was a bit hard to in the beginning because there are just way too many reality television shows out there. But I think we did come up with a good one. We kind of slapped Switched from ABC family and then I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here from ABC together. that was a fun combination. oh and we got our midterms back. I got an 88...it's not too bad. I would rather have an A but eh B+ still good.

I forgot to make a post about midterms. Argh! I really did not enjoy midterm week at COD. That was no fun at all. I had 4 midterms last week. English...I have to say...was the one that I felt like I did well on it. I was able to write a lot of my thoughts down and I was glad that we were able to jot our ideas down first. Hopefully, I did well on it! (I hope)

To anyone in the class sorry if it seemed like i was a know-it-all. I just wanted the class to get going with the discussion and also of course i didn't want to stay after class. I forgot that advertising companies use demographics to see what television shows are the most popular so that they can put their advertisements on during those shows to that more people will watch them. Now that I think of the Superbowl....it all makes sense now.
