Today's activity in English was to look up interactive websites and to find out about interactive television. And I was quite amused and shocked that next year, there's going to be a way to buy music C.Ds without even moving from the front of the television. With a click of a remote button.....you can buy C.Ds from MTV with just a click of a button. That's crazy. I really can't believe that, thats going to be the new way to shop.

I really enjoyed the discussion we had in class. It was quite amusing and really at first I really didn't know where those quiz questions were leading to but later it made sense and I really did like the discussion. I also have to comment that I've never really had an assignment where the teacher told the class that we had to watch t.v. before we wrote a paper. For the school year,I've restricted myself to only watching t.v. during the weekend so that I can consentrate on school work. But now I have an excuse to watch t.v during the week! :)

I'm having a lot of fun designing these web pages! Katie and I hope we are making it correctly though. But it's really fun to find pictures and links to go along with the definitions of the different cultures. So yeah I'm really liking the fact that we are in the computer lab on wednesday so the class can work on the computers.

I really enjoyed the group activity that we did today in class. Pop culture should really be a subject. I think I would have too much fun being in that class. There were so many things that I could lists for the last question today. It made me think of how fast society and the fads change these days. They change really fast.

So, Thursday night I was up forever writing the essay, only to find out that we get the full weekend to make corrections on it. I know our teacher has told us not to wait until the last minute to write essays but I was so stuck on this one. There's one part where I am still stuck I think. I kind of wish that we didn't have a 500 word limit. I'm getting paranoid and cutting out all these parts of my paper. and then i find myself adding more. So pretty much I don't think I'm gettting anywhere with my writing and making it perfect.

I'm stuck on ideas for my essay. blah.

At first this English assignment for the essay didn't make much sense to me. Then again many times essays don't make much sense to me. But after posting on the message board I was able to understand what the assignment wanted and what I have to write for it. :)

Yay! I'm finally taking English 101.
